Welcome back to the Invincibles Studio Employee Spotlight! Today, we’re chatting with Christopher Thompson. Chris is an all-round testing expert and one of our Senior QA Testers here at Invincibles Studio, so we sat down with him to find out about his journey to becoming one of our testers and how he’s found life at Invincibles!

 

Prior to joining us, Chris worked as a QA and as a certified infrastructure technician for a number of other companies. After seeking a change from his previous jobs, Chris became a QA here with the intent of getting his foot in the door within the world of game development.

 

What inspired you to get involved in game development?

 

“Games were always a huge part of my life growing up, so as soon as I had a chance to get involved in the industry, I dived in feet first.”

 

How has your experience been since joining the company?

 

“Amazing, of course! Getting to do something you love as a career is incredible.”

 

What has been your favourite part of working at Invincibles Studio?

 

“The camaraderie in the office. It’s such a close knit, family-oriented place to work. I’ve never experienced anything like that before.”

 

What do you do outside of work?

 

“Look after my puppy, Dexter, play computer games, read far too much science fantasy, and baking.”

 

Finally – favourite animal?
